LOTTIE: ‘I WAS TOLD TO LOSE WEIGHT TO BE THE NEW KATE’

She was discovered aged only 13, when she was a bridesmaid at her big sister’s wedding, but the modelling world turned out to be a traumatic place for Lottie Moss. Last week, the 24 year old spoke out, saying she had been given drugs and alcohol on set, and was told to lose weight in order to become “Kate Moss part two”. The star, who quit modelling to be her own boss on Onlyfans, claimed, “I would be showing up to set and I would not be happy. I didn’t want to do it. I’d be crying my eyes out and they said, ‘We’ll just get you some drugs, you can have a drink and then you’ll be fine’. It was very much like, ‘Oh, you’ll do this shoot, whether you’re sober or not. It’s going to happen’.” Lottie added that she thought it was “normal” to take drugs to combat exhaustion, adding, “I don’t think there were a lot of people in that industry that cared about my wellbeing.” Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Lottie revealed, “I was told I had to lose weight… I ate one piece of toast a day.”
In February, Lottie checked into rehab for cocaine addiction, which she said finally gave her and Kate – who has been sober for four years – a chance to bond. “Me and my sister have never been that close,” she explained. “So, we never really spoke about it until I was in rehab. She was great, she said, ‘I love you’.” ■
