Sue Johnston

She’s been in Downton Abbey and The Royle Family since, but Sue had some meaty soap roles. She played Sheila Grant in

Brookside from 1982-1990, and Gloria Price in Corrie from 2012-2014. She’s been through it with both characters, getting attacked by a taxi driver as Sheila, and having to run The Rovers as Gloria.
