The Lincoln Lawyer

Based on Michael “Bosch”connelly’s 2008 novel The Brass Verdict, this legal drama almost didn’t happen due to COVID. Now, it arrives on Netflix for a ten-episode run instead of the originally slated 13. The show centres on rebellious idealist Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-rulfo from the 2016 remake of The Magnificent Seven), who runs a law practice out of the back of his chauffeur-driven car (a Lincoln, funnily enough) instead of an office, as he takes on cases big and small across Los Angeles. The rest of the cast includes Neve Campbell (Scream), Becki Newton (Ugly Betty), and Angus Sampson (Mad Max: Fury Road ).
