Fans of the US sitcom How I Met Your Mother will no doubt welcome the arrival of this spin-off show, the title of which suggests the franchise could continue for decades, until it finally scrapes the bottom of the barrel with How I Met Your Second Cousin Twice Removed. HIMYF stars Hilary Duff as a brandnew character, Sophie, who is telling her son the story of – you guessed it – how she met his father. This story then whips us back from the near future, to when Sophie and her pals were trying to navigate love and life.
