Kylie & jason for rep rising their roles as scott and char le ne

It’s been 30 long, perm-less years since Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan were on Neighbours, playing Scott and Charlene. Now, to honour the show that kick-started their careers, producers have confirmed the pair are returning to say goodbye to the Australian soap opera as it ends this summer.

Last week, Kylie, 53, took to Instagram to share one half of a Neighbours script, with Jason, also 53, posting the other half. Executive producers commented, “Scott and Charlene are the ultimate Neighbours couple, and it would not feel right to end the show without them. We are thrilled that Jason and Kylie have come home to play a very special part in our series finale. It has been an emotional experience for them, for us and we’re sure it will be for our viewers.” We’re basically crying already.
