TOWIE’S Ella: ‘I TAKE DRAMA IN MY STRIDE’
She’s making a comeback to the reality show

Drama and TOWIE go together like gin and tonic, and someone who knows this more than most is Ella Rae Wise. She joined the show in 2019, when she was just 18, and quickly made a name for herself, thanks to her fiery personality. After briefly leaving last year, she’s now back where she belongs.
Arguments and love dramas are two of the concrete ingredients for a juicy TOWIE storyline, and with Ella’s ongoing feud with Chloe Brockett and wild love life – she has enjoyed a “flirty friendship” with Pete
Wicks, and recent rumours have linked her to Dan Edgar – heat caught up with the 22 year old to see what the 30th series has in store…
What are your favourite memories from the show?
The whole experience has been amazing. I’ve had my fair share of drama, but I’ve had my fair share of laughs as well. It’s Essex, we don’t mind a bit of drama, do we? I take it in my stride.
Do you have any regrets?
No, as everything happens for a reason. I am very proud of myself, as I think
I’ve dealt with a lot of drama maturely.
Is it tough when arguments can spill into ‘real life’?
All of the things we talk about on TOWIE are real. If there are touchy subjects on there, or you’ve fallen out with someone because they’ve done something to you that’s really bad, it speaks louder than just TOWIE, because it’s your private life. It is hard, but it’s what I chose to do.
Is reality TV what you expected?
With TOWIE, if there’s a bad situation, you’re made to talk about it for weeks in order to make it work in the story, which probably does make everything worse. I didn’t really expect it to happen like that.
What can we expect from the 30th series?
You’re in for a treat, but you can expect a little bit of a divide. There are some shocking scenes, especially with some of my storylines. I don’t really think you’d be shocked at who’s involved!
A few newbies have joined this series – what do they bring?
All I can say is they’re not quiet!
Can you shed any light on the Dan Edgar rumours?
Well, you’ll have to watch the show and find out. That’s all I’m saying.
What did you learn during your time out of TOWIE?
I had been involved in a lot of drama, but I always thought about the other people involved more than myself. I came away and thought maybe it was me who was the problem – but then I realised it must’ve been the others, because they were all still arguing! I have my little group – a lot of the cast don’t really take people into consideration, so why should I take them into consideration? ■
