We bet George Clooney’s private gardens at his posh lakeside pad have seen a few VIP parties, but don’t worry if you didn’t get an invite. A must-visit while you’re in the area is Villa del Balbianello, a gorgeous estate and gardens that has played host to some spectacular weddings and events, and one you can visit for a modest entry fee of around £20. You can swan around the grounds and get a guided tour of the villa – you can even grab a picture in the spot where Padmé Amidala and Anakin Skywalker’s secret wedding was filmed in Star Wars: Attack Of The Clones.
