SHE’S BEEN BONDING WITH ANT’S PARENTS AHEAD OF A PROPOSAL
It may only have been a year and a bit since they started dating, but Renée Zellweger and Ant Anstead are racing through the milestones and have not only moved in together, but are also said to be planning their wedding for early 2023.
Last week, Reneé was pictured chatting to Ant’s parents, as the British TV presenter moved his belongings into her home, and an insider tells heat that the couple have been smitten from the start. “They fell hard and fast for each other, and a lot of her friends were a little surprised to see her uproot her life so early and go all in with Ant like she did,” we’re told. “But the way she sees it, the romance progressed at a perfectly stable and sensible pace, even though they were head-over-heels in love from the get-go.”
At first, Renée, 53 – who was previously married to country singer Kenny Chesney – started renting a property over the road from Ant’s home in Laguna Beach. Ant, 43, is currently navigating a messy divorce from his second wife, Christina Haack, with whom he has a son, Hudson, three, and is unable to move far from the area, as per their custody arrangement. However, Ant has now put his home on the market for $3.3 million.
And, it seems, it’s not too early to be buying a hat, as our source reveals, “They’re ready to go ahead and get engaged and create their own life together. They’ve been looking at potential wedding venues in the San Diego area, but are also considering Renée’s place, which Ant has now moved into. They’re more in love than ever.” ■
