Despite recently celebrating her second movie release in the role of director, Olivia Wilde has had a dramatic few months – and now a source tells heat that boyfriend Harry Styles is tired of it all. Even before her film Don’t Worry Darling arrived, Olivia, 38, was facing a heap of drama, including a bitter custody battle with ex-fiancé Jason Sudeikis over their two children, and a widely rumoured feud with leading actress Florence Pugh – which Olivia has denied. Then there is the constant scrutiny surrounding the status of her relationship with the 1D star.
It’s a lot, and we’re told that Harry, 28, is getting cold feet.
A source reveals, “Harry’s saying Olivia can be tough company, and is finding it harder to bite his lip when she’s ranting and raving about all the shit that’s going on in her world right now. Of course, he feels for her and still thinks she’s an incredible woman – he isn’t looking to throw the towel in just yet. But he wants Olivia to find a way to lighten up and stop being so intense. All this negative energy is not what he’s about. Olivia’s a magnet for it and Harry finds that difficult.”
The couple were spotted looking distant while out for dinner in LA recently, and our source reveals that Olivia’s attitude is dragging the British singer down. “Olivia will manage to ride one wave – whether it’s the latest round of her custody fight, or a slanging match with Shia Labeouf – and then get dragged into something else. Her phone is blowing up with calls from lawyers and crisis management consultants,” shares the source, adding, “She’s dealing with drama almost 24/7.”
Olivia and Harry were first linked in January 2021, shortly after she ended her seven-year relationship with Jason.

And while Olivia would be more than happy to lock in her love with the As It Was singer, our source admits Harry is being cautious. “If Olivia had her way, they’d be planning their wedding. But while Harry hasn’t ruled that out at all, he’s diplomatically found a way to tread water on the topic.”
With fans predicting an imminent split, our source reveals that even the singer’s close pals aren’t too sure this love story will last. We’re told, “A lot of people are wondering how much more he’s going to take. It’s the ultimate test of their long-term future right now, and Olivia is right to be worried, because this is a lot for Harry to deal with.” n
