SHE’S TAKEN HER RANTING PUBLIC AND SAM HAS HAD ENOUGH
We all really hoped it was third time lucky for Britney Spears when she tied the knot with Sam Asghari in June. But just months later, the couple are already struggling. And their issues came to a head last week when Britney, 41, seemed to be involved an unhappy incident in an LA restaurant, apparently yelling and “talking gibberish”, which eventually caused her husband to storm out. Now, an insider tells heat that this has Sam, 28, left reconsidering their long-term future.
Our source says, “Sam doesn’t want to abandon Britney, but he won’t be tortured like this, either. Her mood swings and constant drama have left his head spinning, and he desperately needs some space. This latest incident really embarrassed him – he’s barely talking to her right now and wants some alone time before they sit down for crisis talks. Britney’s furious that he’d humiliate her in public and leave her all by herself. She’s very unhappy and a lot of people are extremely worried they won’t last.”
While Sam has since said his wife was “frustrated” and “disrespected” by people taking her photo in the restaurant, Britney herself sought to explain her behaviour on Instagram, telling fans she was “a little drunk”.
The source adds that Sam is also attempting to limit the fallout. “He’s been saying he was just going to get the car, so they could leave, but the reality is he’d reached his limit. The worst part is that Britney’s behaviour was mild that night compared to how she can be at home. She’s constantly going off the deep end and Sam is the one who bears the brunt of her foul moods and angry tirades. He is walking on eggshells.”
While it’s clear Sam has a lot of love for Britney, our insider tells us that it may come to a time that love isn’t enough. “He does want to stick around and find a way to salvage things, but for that to happen the feeling is that Britney needs to get more therapy and most of all, stop taking him for granted. If she can’t do that – and quick – then the future of the marriage is pretty bleak.” n
