DANNY BEGS DANI: ‘LET ME BE AT THE BIRTH’

AND IF THE TWINS COME OUT IN WEST HAM SHIRTS, ALL THE BETTER

-

Dani Dyer has told fans she is “so excited” to be expecting twins with her footballer boyfriend Jarrod Bowen – but we’ve heard that there’s another member of the Dyer family who is especially over the moon with the news. An insider tells heat that Danny senior, 45, loves being a grandad to Dani’s first son Santiago and wants to be even more involved with the new arrivals.

“Being a grandad is everything Danny imagined and more – he absolutely loves it,” we’re told. “He’s been more like a father to Santiago, because of the situation with Dani’s ex, and has been very impressed with how Jarrod’s stepped up.” Sammy Kimmence, the father of two-year-old son Santi, hasn’t been overly involved in the tot’s life as he was only released from prison at the end of last year, after spending more than a year behind bars for defrauding two pensioners out of £34,000. So, for the actor to see his daughter move on from her past relationship and grow her family with someone more stable is all that he wanted. The fact Jarrod plays for Danny’s favourite football team, West Ham, hasn’t gone unnoticed, either. “It was a dream come true for Danny when Dani started dating one of West Ham’s best players, so for Dani to be having twins with him, he can hardly contain his excitement,” our source shares. “He’s begged Dani to let him be in the delivery room so he can witness two new potential West Ham players being born.”

But it seems Dani isn’t too keen on the idea. “Although they’re really close, Dani’s hoping that he’s joking about being in the delivery room and she’s said that he can be outside the room. The whole family are so excited, and Jarrod said it’s made him focus on his career more after a bit of a rough patch, as he wants his kids to be proud.” ■
