They say third time’s a charm, and let’s hope so for Brad Pitt’s sake. Insiders say the actor, who was previously married to Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie, is preparing to pop the question again, this time to jewellery designer Ines de Ramon. After dating for just a few months, friends say the couple are already talking marriage – despite both still being tied up with divorce paperwork.
“Brad’s been saying Ines is The One,” says an insider close to the 59-yearold dad of six, who was spotted with Ines, 29, for the first time in November at a Bono concert. “It’s the first time he’s clicked with someone like this and no one’s in any doubt that this is something very different and special. Brad’s currently filming in New York, and they’ve been on the phone constantly, or flying back and forth to LA on his private jet. They’re now making plans to travel to Missouri, so Ines can meet Brad’s folks – and everyone thinks he’ll be getting down on one knee.” Last week, Ines’ estranged husband, Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley, filed divorce papers after being separated for almost a year. And pals say they’ll be hoping for a speedy divorce, unlike Brad’s famously acrimonious – and ongoing – seven-year battle with Angelina, 47. “Let’s be honest, it would be satisfying to rub Ange’s face in his new engagement,” says the source. “But, of course, that’s not the main motivation for Brad proposing – he just wants to be happy. It’s all looking very positive for him as he heads into his 60th year. He and Ines love each other and everyone’s thrilled for them.” n
