MILEY & MUM SAY ‘I DO’
She’ll buy her own flowers, but go halves on the rest
We all know those parents and their offspring who like to do everything together, but Miley Cyrus and her mum Tish are taking it to the next level – by planning a double wedding. Both have found love again after going through divorces in the past couple of years, and we’re told they think that tying the knot(s) side by side could be the perfect way to celebrate.
Flowers singer, Miley, 30, is currently crazy in love with drummer Maxx Morando, 24, after a messy divorce from actor Liam Hemsworth. Meanwhile, Tish, 55, and actor boyfriend Dominic Purcell, 53, have been together for five months, following Tish’s divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus last April.
heat ’s insider says, “It was a huge deal for Miley to finally go public with Maxx [at the Versace show in West Hollywood earlier this month], and she’s told everyone in her life he’s ‘The One’ – he gets her much better than Liam ever did. The same goes for Tish and Dominic, who have moved in together and are totally ready to take the next step. They both think it would be so amazing to do this together, and of course there’s an extra motivation to do it before Billy Ray beats them to the punch.”
Miley is said to have taken her mum’s side in
Tish’s bitter divorce from Billy Ray, who is already engaged to fiancé and singing partner Firerose, so now the race is on.
We’re told Tish and Miley are looking at a summer ceremony in
Malibu, but both are so loved-up, they may even move it forward. “Miley and Maxx have been serious for longer than people realise,” says the source of the couple, who’ve reportedly been together for over a year now. “He’s very low-key, which suits her to a tee.”
And while Miley isn’t usually known as being remotely low-key, it seems the newly sober star enjoys a different lifestyle these days. “They like to cook together, hike, watch movies and see new places,” says the source. And now, it seems, they like joint weddings – and nothing’s more low-key than that, right? ■
