Love Island’s golden couple are no more
Almost three years after winning the first winter season of Love Island, Paige Turley, 25, and Finley Tapp, 23, have allegedly called time on their romance. Responding to rumours that the couple had gone their separate ways, a source said, “Paige and Finn had a really good run, but they are still super-young and decided it wasn’t forever in the end.”
The couple are said to have moved out of their Manchester home, with Paige returning to Scotland, while Finn has gone travelling. Just a few months ago, they appeared loved-up on a heat photo shoot, telling us about their plans to move to a house with a garden and get two dogs. Finn revealed, “Life is very good! We love Manchester [and moving there] was the best decision we ever made.”
The couple had their share of ups and downs while on Love Island back in 2020, with singer Paige telling us, “It’s normal in relationships to sometimes bicker, usually over the most stupid shit.” And after coming out of the villa and straight into a pandemic, the couple also told us how the lockdown “really helped” to strengthen their bond, with Paige revealing, “It was nice that we got the time to put the foundations down.”
The news came as a shock to many fans – but some insisted they’d seen signs. Finn’s last post with his GF was in March, while Paige hasn’t posted a snap of her beau since January. The couple had also deleted several photos together from their social media pages, hinting at trouble.
At least they’ll always have South Africa… ■
