While Kyle took responsibility for his actions in his interview last week, he also laid a great deal of blame at Lauryn’s door, claiming, “[She] had me trapped in a corner from October, when she told me about a second child. She would ask me to jump, and I would say, ‘How high?’” And Annie’s sister Sian doubled down on the narrative of Lauryn being the wicked other woman, which has only been fuelled further with reports that the influencer had threatened to move closer to Kyle and Annie’s family home in Cheshire.
But it’s clear that Lauryn refuses to be silenced, taking to Insta soon after Kyle’s interview went live to share the definition of a “pathological narcissist”, before saying in a statement she was “disappointed by his deluded version of events”, which contrasted with her recollection of “a long-standing, intimate, loving and affectionate relationship”. In perhaps a cautionary nod to what’s to come, Lauryn added she had “many years of messages sent between them”.
In response, Kyle’s spokesperson said he was consulting lawyers to put an end to the “wild and untrue stories” Lauryn was telling “in search of self-publicity and financial gain”. But according to our insiders, his legal threats are water off a duck’s back. As far as Lauryn’s concerned, she’s the innocent party, and she’s prepared to raise her voice even louder – with proof – to prove it.
“Lauryn is fuming,” says our source. “She feels as if Kyle is painting himself as some kind of saint, while she’s the sinner. She’s been telling friends she’s got her own receipts, including texts that prove what a special relationship she had with Kyle.
“She refuses to be tarnished or vilified, and is prepared to put up a fight. She says she’s got plenty more to tell, so Kyle needs to be careful.” n
