The Kansas City Chiefs have secured their spot in their second consecutive Super Bowl, but the dilemma we’re all talking about is how Taylor Swift will make sure she’s there for boyfriend Travis Kelce’s big day.
After Travis, 34, helped secure a Chiefs win last week, Taylor, 34, joined his family to celebrate their star athlete. Embracing each other on the pitch, the couple – who have been together since last summer – gave each other a smacker much to the delight of Swifties everywhere. But with the Chiefs now nabbing a spot in the 11 February Super Bowl, Taylor is facing a dilemma. After all, 10 February will see the pop star perform her Eras Tour date in Tokyo – meaning she’ll have a mammoth trip if she plans to make it to Vegas for the game.
Given that Tokyo is 17 hours ahead, there’s a 24-hour window for Taylor to whizz back to the States. The star could perform her concert on the Saturday night, and as long as her private jet leaves for the 13-hour flight soon after, she’ll touch down – albeit with some major jetlag – before kick-off on Sunday afternoon. If anyone can make it across the world to cheer on their beau, it’s Taylor.
And a source revealed that the singer’s already planned to be in the stands rooting for Travis, saying, “Though it would be extremely tiring, Taylor plans to come back for the Super Bowl – and they highly anticipate they’ll be together on Valentine’s Day, whether that’s overseas or in America.” Considering Taylor’s next performance is in Australia on 16 February, there’s every chance the pair could spend their V-day down under. n
