Victoria Beckham’s collab with high-street giant Mango

For years, Victoria Beckham’s style and aesthetics have been out of reach for most of us – unless, of course, you have a casual £800 to splurge on a summer frock. But that’s set to change, thanks to her new collaborat­ion with Mango. Launched to coincide with the VB brand’s 16th birthday (and Posh’s 50th), the capsule collection aims to bring “aspiration­alism, quality and unique style” to the high street.

Victoria has described the collection as “sensual, considered and feminine”, and said she wanted to work with Mango “to speak to a wider audience in a way that feels relevant to my brand and retains my aesthetic”.

She added, “I think people will be surprised by how strong the fashion message is in every single garment.”

This isn’t the first time Victoria’s dipped her toes in affordable retail. Back in 2017, she debuted a 200-piece collection with the prominent US high-street chain Target and it was an instant success. Fashion fans on a budget are understand­ably excited about the new line, which launches this week, with one commenting on Mango’s Instagram, “Add to cart”, and another writing, “Omg, can’t wait”.

So, if you want to feel closer to the Beckham brand – or to cosplay as David Beckham’s wife for a fee that won’t break the bank – get ready to shop! These pieces won’t be around for long. ■
