Inside Kate’s LOW KEY FAMILY TIME
If anyone’s earned a rest, it’s her
Despite everything she’s been going through following her cancer diagnosis, Kate Middleton has remained positive about her time out of the spotlight, using it as an opportunity to spend quality time with her loved ones. And with her and Prince William ticking o some major milestones in the past couple of weeks – including their 13th wedding anniversary on 29 April, Princess Charlotte’s ninth birthday on 2 May, and Prince Louis turning six the week before – it’s been a time of celebrations in the royal household.
Detailing how Kate, 42, and William, 41, have spent the past few weeks with children Louis, Charlotte and George, ten, our insiders tell us, “The whole family had such a lovely time for both Charlotte and Louis’ birthdays. They held private celebrations all together at home, which was very special. Kate’s so proud of all of her kids and they all get along so well – there’s always so much love, laughter and unity in the household. They were already exceptionally close, but since her health scare, they’ve really rallied. They’re making more of a fuss of her and keeping the mood at home as light as possible.”
As well as sharing snaps of Louis and Charlotte to mark their birthdays, Kate also bounced back from the recent controversy surrounding her Mother’s Day photo and posted a previously unseen wedding picture to mark her and Wills’ anniversary. “William cooked her a beautiful dinner and they exchanged gifts on their special day,” we’re told. “The whole weekend before, William was pampering Kate and they loved putting out that beautiful image from their wedding. One of their favourite things to do is share anecdotes and memories about that very special day.
“They really are so grateful for the life they’ve created together.” n
