Open doors to a new you
COLLEGES across Scotland are opening their doors from 21 to 28 March to mark the second national Big College Open Week.
Organised by the colleges across Scotland, the purpose of the week is to demonstrate all that colleges offer – including the wide range of learning pathways and options open to students.
So, whether you’re a school leaver thinking about your next steps, considering a career change, or simply want to learn something new, there’s never been a better time to pay your local centre a visit.
The doors will be open all week at UHI Argyll, so you can pop in at a time that suits you and discover everything they have to offer.
They have a number of exciting, interactive taster sessions taking place throughout the week. Get a feel for what it’s like to study at UHI Argyll, find out if a particular subject is for you, meet the lecturers and students, and find out more about their courses.
You can join the following events from their Helensburgh centre:
• Health & Social Care Information Session
Learn about their range of Health & Social Care courses and participate in a practical activity to assess illness severity, work out a drugs calculation and practice delivering CPR.
• Gaelic Language Taster Session
