DAME JOAN COLLINS

SAYS IT WITH FLOWERS AT SISTER’S FILM TRIBUTE

-

Dame Joan Collins was coming up roses as she hit the red carpet with family and friends at the premiere of a documentary about her late sister, the best- selling author Jackie. The actress, writer, columnist and all-round glamour queen rocked a white dress with floral details, matching lipstick, and nude heels (left) to celebrate the release of the 96-minute film Lady Boss: The Jackie Collins Story.

The event at the Curzon Mayfair cinema in London saw Joan reunited with her brother Bill as well as nieces Tiffany and Tracy Lerman (all right), with the sisters proving that glamour runs in the family as they matched their aunt in the style stakes.

The documentary looks back at the life, work and complex character of Jackie, who died at the age of 77 after a six- year battle with breast cancer.

The film, which reveals the story behind the feminist icon’s success, also shows her vulnerability, private struggles and living in the shadow of her big sister, Joan. It is narrated by her close friends and family members.

Dame Joan was no doubt thrilled to be enjoying a night out after completing another quarantine, having recently jetted to the UK from a holiday in St Tropez.

“Finally finished #quarantine number 5,” she wrote on Instagram as she enjoyed dinner with her daughter Tara Arkle and her husband Nick. Making the most of her new-found freedom, Dame Joan also found time to catch up with her friend Paul O’Grady. “Enjoyed working with and seeing my # goodfriend @ paulogrady again!” she wrote, posting a photo of the pair.
