Since rekindling their romance after breaking up 17 years ago, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck appear to be as in step as their matching outfits.

Spotted strolling in upmarket US East Coast retreat the Hamptons just a day after taking both sets of their children to Universal Studios Hollywood, the couple were clearly enjoying some alone time.

It’s been a few weeks since the duo confirmed they were back together, when they were spotted wrapped up in each other’s arms as they passionately kissed while attending a 50th birthday party for Jennifer’s sister Lynda at the Nobu Malibu restaurant.

And it’s not just each other’s company the pair have been enjoying over the past few weeks; Justice League star Ben, 48, has been getting to know J-Lo’s 13-year-old twins Max and Emme, from her marriage to singer Marc Anthony, while his own nine-year-old son Samuel, from his marriage to actress Jennifer Garner, was with the family at Universal Studios Hollywood – although daughters Violet, 15, and Seraphina, 12, were absent.

It seems as though things are moving quickly – it’s claimed 51-year-old Jennifer is considering relocating to LA to live in the same city as her on-again partner.

“This is not a casual relationship,” a source has said. “They are taking it seriously and want it to be long-lasting.”

Reports that “Bennifer”, as they were originally nicknamed, had reunited emerged shortly after the actress and singer announced the end of her engagement to former baseball star Alex Rodriguez in April. She and Ben soon began spending more time together, jetting off to a luxury ski resort in Montana and spending time in Miami, where Jennifer had relocated during her four-year romance with Alex.

Their original romance, from 2002 to 2004, made them one of the most photographed couples of the early Noughties, with Ben starring in a video to accompany Jennifer’s hit single Jenny from the Block.

The Oscar-winning actor proposed with a six-carat pink diamond ring in 2002, but their September 2003 wedding was called off merely days before it was meant to take place and they eventually split in early 2004.
