PAINT NO MOUNTAIN HIGH ENOUGH

If you’ve had a bit of a rocky start to your day, take a hike up your local hill – you never know what you might find. In Telford, runner Fay Rayward started leaving painted rocks – including (clockwise from right) the characters from Rainbow, a Nike trainer and Little Miss Sunshine – on the Wrekin, a hill in Shropshire, for people to find. “I started painting rocks during lockdown,” said Fay, who has been leaving the rocks on the hill during training for this year’s London Marathon – which she’s running in October to raise money for charity Whizz-Kidz – to “cheer people up”.
