MOTHERHOOD IS BLOOMING LOVELY

-

As the nation’s obsession with horticulture grows, famous faces were keen to get back to their roots at one of the year’s biggest flower shows. Amongthose on border patrol at theRHSHampton Court Palace Garden Festival in London was floral fan Anthea Turner.

“Out yesterday and feeling normal (nearly),” Anthea told followers, after checking out the show gardens with fiancé Mark Armstrong (above).

For DJ and former Made in Chelsea star Ashley James, the day was a chance to enjoy the sunshine with her baby son Alfie (right). Wearing red florals, she posed for photos with the six-month-old.

Another first-timer was presenter Angellica Bell (below left), who said she “absolutely loved it”. Sharing photos and clips on social media, the One Show regular enthused: “So many great gardening ideas and plants with lots of people wanting to give advice and tips.”

With celebrities springing up all over the historic site, other visitors included Strictly Come Dancing’s Craig Revel Horwood, singer Will Young and comedian Bill Bailey. Yasmin and Simon Le Bon (below right) were spotted buying foxglove seeds, while newsreader and presenter Charlotte Hawkins (below centre) called it a “gorgeous day”. She later told fans: “Back home about to do some planting (just need to get changed first!)”
