Delighted to become a first-time grandfather

This Morning host Eamonn Holmes has become a grandfather for the first time following the arrival of his son Declan’s baby girl Emelia.

Sharing the news on the ITV show last week, he said, “Some things have changed since I last saw you yesterday and that is...” while his wife and co- presenter Ruth Langsford continued: “You’re a grandad.”

Eamonn, 61, also shared a picture to his social media of the newborn being cradled by her dad, writing: “My First born Son Declan with his first born and my first Grandchild Emelia. Welcome to The World Emelia. Just call me Papa.”

l McFly drummer Harry Judd and his wife Izzy have announced that their third child, who is due in October, will be a boy.
