Lara Stone and British property developer David Grievson have married in a private ceremony at Hungerford Town Hall in Berkshire after three years together.

The 37-year-old Dutch model, who has worked with Chanel and Marc Jacobs, announced the surprise nuptials with a series of black- and- white pictures on Instagram, including shots of her and her new husband being showered in confetti and their first dance at the reception.

“Got to marry my love this weekend!” she told followers.

Lara wore a bespoke bohemian- style wedding dress by London- based label Tephi, which was founded by David’s sister Chessie and for which she has appeared in advertising campaigns. It featured threequarter-length sleeves and a white lace finish, with a pearlescent button-up front to match her pearl-encrusted heels.

Lara and David met on the dating app Tinder in 2018. They have kept their romance largely under the radar and only confirmed their engagement when the bride- to- be showed off her diamond engagement ring at an event in London in February 2020.

This is Lara’s second marriage. She tied the knot with Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams in 2010, less than a year after they started dating, and welcomed son Alfred in May 2013. They divorced in 2015, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

Speaking about Alfred in 2019, Lara said: “He’s the happiest kid – really happy to be home with me and really happy to be home with his dad, so what more could you ask for?”
