ON RED HOT FORM DAZZLING THE MED

It may be safe to visit, but Dame Joan Collins put Majorca on the red-hot list with her appearance at a charity fundraiser on the island. The actress teamed a scarlet Ralph Lauren design with diamonds and a dazzling smile as she helped raise money for victims of the recent flooding in Germany.

Even more impressive, the stylish but savvy star managed to look a million dollars at the red- themed bash while staying totally green. “Shopping i n my closet, found this old @ Ralphlauren gown which was perfect for the red dress # remuscharitynight,” she told her 252,000 Instagram followers.

The 88-year-old was accompanied to the fundraiser by her husband Percy Gibson (right with Joan) and was delighted for the opportunity to get dressed up for the “first proper # event I’ve been to in a year and a half”.

It was not, however, the couple’s first trip to Majorca in recent months, having visited in May for work purposes. Speaking of her affection for the tourist hotspot, she explained in an interview: “I first came to the island when I was a teenager and later I shot a film here. I love the sun and the restaurants.”
