Tells fans she’s expecting her second child

Christina Ricci has announced she’s pregnant with her second child, sharing the news with a photo of her baby bump along with pictures of an ultrasound scan.

“Life keeps getting better,” wrote the 41-year-old actress, who shot to fame at the age of ten after appearing in Mermaids with Cher and Winona Ryder.

Her partner, Welsh hairdresser Mark Hampton, whom she calls her “favourite person, gorgeous person, bringer of all things happy, magical and good”, also shared images of their scans with the same caption.

This will be Christina’s second child, joining seven-year-old son Freddie from her marriage to cinematographer James Heerdege, which officially ended last month.
