IS BLOOMING LOVELY WITH HUSBAND HUGO TAYLOR AS THEY CELEBRATE DAUGHTER SIENNA’S CHRISTENING
With
floral arches, a two-tier cake, dreamy tablescaping and a countryside backdrop, the christening of Millie Mackintosh and Hugo Taylor’s daughter Sienna last week proved the perfect celebration.
“We finally christened our darling Sienna today,” Millie wrote on Instagram, with a photo of the proud parents and their one-year-old daughter in a ivory dress and satin hair bow. “We were surrounded by our favourite people and it was so worth the wait to do it restriction free and luckily just in time before baby 2 arrives!”
Celebrations took place at members’ club Soho Farmhouse in the heart of Oxfordshire, with Millie saying: “We spend a lot of time in the Cotswolds so it felt like the perfect place to have a countryside christening.”
STEPPING OUT IN STYLE
London- based Millie and Hugo certainly embraced the theme, with beautiful blooms offset by “a touch of pampas grass to fit the rustic country setting”, plus cream roses and foliage brightening up the table for their guests.
Eco- conscious Millie showcased recycled, rented or second-hand outfits for her Instagram followers to vote on, with the winner being an elegant ivory Shona Joy gown, worn with a Lele Sadoughi headband. “Thank you for all your advice on which dress to wear,” she wrote.
Sienna’s christening was an opportunity for her to be centre of attention before becoming a big sister – Millie and Hugo, whose lavish English country garden-themed wedding was covered exclusively by hello! three years ago, are expecting a baby girl later this year.
“I just feel so lucky and overwhelmed with happiness,” Millie has said.
