BIRTHDAY FUN IS A PIECE OF CAKE

First birthdays are always fun, but having Tamara Ecclestone organise your celebration has to be the icing on the cake.

To mark younger daughter Serena’s milestone, the businesswoman pulled out all the stops to plan “a weekend of celebrating and cakes”.

Making sure flowers, friends, balloons and plenty of love were on hand, Tamara treated her little girl to a puppy party, with highlights including a life- sized dog cake complete with bone, ball and candle.

However, Serena seemed particularly taken with one huge pale pink confection decorated with her name. Keen for a taste, she got stuck in – much to Tamara’s amusement. “Cake smash time,” she wrote, sharing a photo (above) online.

Mother and baby girl were also joined by devoted seven-year-old sister Sophia, who is known as Fifi, and dad Jay Rutland, with a l l four taking part in a commemorative photoshoot (left).

Instagram, Tamara wrote: “The Birthday Girl enjoyed her special day…” before adding: “And so did big Sis.”

In a touching birthday tribute to her baby daughter, Tamara wrote: “Our little girl is 1. You are the most determined little girl with the sweetest heart. You completed our family.”

She also praised the “magical” bond between Serena and Fifi, saying: “You girls are so lucky to have one another.”
