STAR SHINES BRIGHTLY IN NEW COLLECTION OF UNSEEN PHOTOS

Adecade after her death at the age of 79, Hollywood legend Dame Elizabeth Taylor is getting star billing once more thanks to a new book.

Forever Elizabeth: Iconic Photographs of a Legendary Star charts the actress at different stages of a career that spanned decades and won her two Academy Awards – as well as the hearts of seven husbands and thousands of adoring fans.

Featuring rare and unseen images by eight renowned photographers, including Terry

O’Neill, Norman Parkinson and Gered Mankowitz, the book includes behind-the-scenes shots from her 1968 film Boom! taken on location in Sardinia (left), as well photos of her with her children.

There are also candid photos of Elizabeth in London’s South Bank in 1963 with her Cleopatra co-star Richard Burton (above), whom she went on to marry twice – the first time later that year.

“From the first moments, we were always madly and powerfully in love,” she once said.
