SEVENTIES pop Icons, Showaddywaddy bring their chart-topping brand of rock and roll to the Babbacombe Theatre for one night only on Friday November 23.

Showaddywaddy had more hits in the UK than Abba during the 1970, and their current tour celebrates that fact.

They have achieved 23 top 40 hit singles including 10 top five hits, 15 massive selling albums including three that went platinum.

They appeared on Top of The Pops more than 50 times and met the Queen Mother.

Expect to hear hits including Under The Moon of Love, Three Steps to Heaven, Hey Rock & Roll, When, Blue Moon and Pretty Little Angel Eyes. THE next play in the Bijou Theatre Production season is a Christmas thriller called Who Killed Santa Claus? The play is written by Terrence Feely who wrote for television and therefore it comes as no surprise that the play is set in the world of TV. The setting is an after show party set in the home of Barbara Love the presenter of a very popular children’s television show. This is an annual event which takes place every Christmas Eve. All her creative team are there and the characters all have big personalities.
