Herald Express (Torbay, Brixham & South Hams Edition)

Herald Express publishing not affected by move

-

THE Herald Express offices at Barton Hill Road in Torquay are to close from Friday, September 21.

We will, however, continue to provide our normal comprehensive coverage of local news and events, and the publication of the newspaper will not be affected. Reporters and advertising representatives will continue to be based in South Devon to deal with your calls and inquiries.

Their contact details can be found in the index panel at the foot of this page. After 5pm on Friday there will be no Herald Express editorial, advertising or adminstrative staff in the Barton Hill Road building. This newspaper was first published in 1925 and was based in the town centre at Braddons Hill Road West before moving to Barton Hill Road in 1980. It switched from daily to weekly publication in 2011.

Editor Scott Harrison said: “We continue to be the principal provider of local news in South Devon, and we will continue to deliver a top-quality service to our readers and advertisers after these changes have taken effect. I thank you for your continued support of the Herald Express.”

Postal communications and letters for publication should from now on be sent to the Herald Express at Queens House, Little Queen Street, Exeter EX4 3LJ
