More drugs are seized in latest raids

WEEKEND raids by police in Brixham have brought the street value of drugs seized in the latest drive against illegal narcotics in the town to £293,000.

Two more addresses were targeted over the weekend in the long-running Operation Olympic, which has also reached out into Paignton, with doors being smashed in.

Officers said the occupants of the two Brixham addresses, alleged to have been associated with controlled drugs activity and anti-social behaviour, had been evicted.

A total of 92 warrants have been executed and addresses searched under Operation Olympic so far, and there have been 71 arrests.

Drugs seized include heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, cannabis, amphetamin­e and ecstasy.
