Royal slippers provide link to the past

I AM hoping to find descendants of the Torquay shoe maker who made some silk slippers for Queen Victoria.

In 1833 the then Princess Victoria and her mother, the Duchess of Kent, visited Torquay and the princess was presented with a pair of silk slippers, made for her by a Mr W Lander, shoe maker of Market Street,
