Evening of bluegrass
THE Slocan Ramblers are at Kingskerswell Parish Church on November 6.
Rooted in tradition, with a reputation for energetic live shows and impeccable musicianship, the Canadian outfit are influenced by artists such as The Stanley Brothers, Norman Blake and Steve Earle.
They showcase a unique blend of bluegrass, old-time and folk with deep song-writing, lightning fast instrumentals and sawdust-thick vocals.
Their Kingskerswell gig comes in support of their widely praised, recently released third album Queen City Jubilee.
