- BY NEIL HOCKING

Dartmouth AFC made it seven straight league wins last Saturday with a home victory over a Roselands side still looking for their first taste of success.

Roselands’ cause wasn’t helped when captain Tom Dunlop was sent off for a second yellow card half way through the first half.

Dartmouth won the game 3-1 with goals supplied by Rhys Morrallee, from the penalty spot, Cameron Webb and Dan Rankin.

Roselands’ goal came when Curtis Clarke crossed for Adam Blackburn to head home.

Buckland Athletic Reserves bounced back from their loss at East Allington to beat Watcombe Wanderers 5-1 at Homers Heath.

Captain Matt Beer got the scoring underway with a curling free-kick into the top corner.

Simon Revell then blasted home a second free-kick goal from 35 yards to put the Yellows two up at the break.

Revell completed his hat-trick in the second half with Lorin Newcombe and, for Watcombe, Chris Srdinko also on target.

East Allington United enjoyed back to back successes to move up to third, Simon Hannaford with a brace in a hard-fought 4-2 win at Kingskerswell and Chelston.

Andy Davis put away a penalty and there was also a first Pirates goal for Robin Dart. Aidan Mackin scored twice for the home side.

Mathew Carroll’s double helped Chudleigh Athletic to a narrow 3-2 home victory over Kingsteignton Athletic, their third win in a row.

Jamie Aspden also struck for the hosts with the Rams’ goals coming from Toby Pullman and Ashley Dove.

Fellow promoted side Totnes and Dartington were also victorious.

Joshua Squires netted an early goal at Brixham AFC Reserves and Sam Jones enjoyed a late strike to seal the points and move Tots into the top six.

The defending champions Ashburton finally got their season up and running, achieving their first league win of the season what was their fifth attempt.

Jack White and substitute Darren Morgan all found the net as the Ashes won 3-0 at Paignton Villa.

their hosts propping things up at the table.

There is no change in the top three of Division One as Torbay Police, Paignton Saints and Salcombe Town all enjoyed victories.

Watcombe Wanderers started the brightest at Long Lane but Marc Hagland put the Police one up on 15 minutes with a superb top corner finish from distance.

Jamie Bayliss then rose highest from a Hagland corner to nod home a second before the break.

Bayliss then made sure of the result after the break with a lob over the Watcombe keeper.

Jamie Micklewright added another goal to his tally as Paignton Saints sent Ivybridge Town Reserves to their third narrow loss in a row.

Connor Conneely and Ryan McGee also notched for Saints with Alex Henniker and Brad- ley Lowe keeping it tight with goals for the Ivies.

Goals apiece for Ashley Yeoman, Olly Stallard, Charlie Barnes and Ryan Colmer ensured a home win for Salcombe who won 4-2 against Newton Abbot 66.

A 25-yard Adam Whitmore strike in the last five minutes won Buckland Athletic Thirds the points against visiting Babbacombe Corinthians.

Finley Bullen had a memorable game at Loddiswell Athletic.

The Beesands player scored both of his side’s goals in a 2-0 win, but he was also dismissed after picking up two yellow cards.

Despite being a goal down at half-time, Newton Abbot Spurs Reserves won a second game on the bounce, moving level on points with visiting Broadmeadow STFC by beating them 5-2 at The Rec.
