Man’s finger bitten off in row

A MAN’S finger has been bitten off in an incident outside a Torquay’s doctor’s surgery .

The 56-year-old man lost part of his index finger in the attack outside the Chilcote Surgery in leafy Hampton Avenue, St Marychurch. The following day a 46-year-old man presented himself at Torquay Police Station and was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Police have confirmed that they were called at 4.25pm on Wednesday November 7. The victim was taken to Torbay Hospital for surgery.
