About the HRA award

The Lord Faulkner Young Volunteer Award is presented to a volunteer under the age of 26, for significant achievement.

Now a permanent feature of the Heritage Railway Association’s awards list, it recognises the crucial importance of succession generations in securing the future of heritage rail, and acknowledges a distinguished contribution made by one or more young volunteers.

Nominations open in October. The 2021 awards and annual dinner is currently set to be held on the evening of Saturday, February 6.
