Former Penrhyn Quarry Railway Hunslet 2-4-0STT No. 590 of 1893 Linda bowed out of Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways service on March 6 pending its heavy overhaul. Its last duty was a works train from Boston Lodge (pictured) to Dduallt and return. Linda, which arrived on the line on July 14, 1962, will undergo work on its boiler and chassis, while the tender will need new frames and a new water space. CHRIS PARRY
