London North Eastern Railway official Azuma poster prints

TRAIN operator LNER has issued a set of seven posters depicting its Hitachi-built Class 800 Azuma bi-mode multiple unit trains, featuring iconic locations such as Leeds, York, Harrogate, Edinburgh Waverley and Lincoln.

Of particular interest to Heritage Railway readers will be the poster depicting an Azuma at York station on July 30, 2019, alongside no less than world steam railway speed recordbreaker A4 Pacific No. 4468 Mallard, which can be bought separately. The posters were designed for the launch of the Azumas on the LNER routes throughout 2019.

LNER director of communications Kate McFerran said: “The original LNER was well-known for its evocative posters and great publicity, so it is wonderful that we can continue this tradition with the release of the Azuma launch collection of posters.”
