Wensleydale’s appeal for ‘Pacer’ movement

THE Wensleydale Railway has launched a public appeal to cover the costs of bringing its Tyne & Wear Passenger Transport Executive Class 143 ‘Pacer’ DMU No. 143623 to the line. Plans to fund the move by running a railtour were prevented by the pandemic and some route restrictions. Anyone who donates more than £20 will be invited on its inaugural Bedale to Scruton run.
