Second home for trust’s large stock collection
THE Rail Trolley Trust has obtained a second home for its growing collection.
It has signed an agreement with the Tanat Valley Light Railway at Nantmawr, Oswestry, and will move part of its stock there over the coming months.
The items there will be referred to as The Rail Trolley Trust’s Shropshire Collection.
The trust will maintain its working relationship with the Chasewater Railway and the items there will become The Rail Trolley Trust’s Staffordshire Collection.
The trust has obtained Robel Type 56.27 Inspection Trolley No. 56.27-10AG36 of 1983 from RMS Locotec. The most recent use of the trolley was at Meldon Quarry on the Dartmoor Railway.
