Wensleydale track appeal

WENSLEYDALE Railway volunteers aim to raise up to £100,000 for vital trackwork. A fundraising page has been launched at www.justgiving.com/ campaign/infrastructureappeal

Railway inspectors have warned much of the trackwork is reaching the end of its life.

Work including new sleepers, ballast and fencing is required to ensure that the track is fully operational to Constable Burton for Polar Express trips and to Leyburn for other Christmas specials.
