Llangollen Railway 2022 Calendar

THIS Christmas we will have much cause to remember the heroic actions by the Llangollen Railway Trust in saving and reopening one of the UK's most beautiful heritage lines after it was plunged into receivership. This inspirational offering, titled A Calendar of the Llangollen Railway in Sketches and Watercolours, features a set of 13 watercolours by Neil Evans, who was encouraged by a trust member, the late Bruce Mundie, to produce it from artwork made during the Covid-19 lockdowns.

Each monthly page contains one painting of a classic Llangollen railway scene, plus a calendar with sufficient space to make notes on each day.

There will be those who, once 2023 is reached, will want to keep hold of this calendar, or maybe cut out and frame one or more of the paintings.

All proceeds from sales will go towards projects associated with the new trust.
