How can you support the P2 project?

BY donating as little as £2.50 a week – the equivalent of the price of a pint of beer – on a regular basis, you can become a covenantor, allowing the project team to forecast a regular and reliable income, and careful planning of purchases, engineering and construction. There are other ways to pledge support, specific to different parts of the locomotive, with clubs set up to raise finance for each. These include The Cylinder Manufacturing Club; The Boiler Club; The Tender Club, The P2 Support Coach Appeal; and The Injectors Club – visit www.p2steam. com. Six other clubs have been closed after they reached their targets and components were delivered.

To sponsor a specific component in its entirety, the Dedicated Donation scheme has proved extremely popular. One-off donations are also welcome.
