DMU moves to Midsomer Norton

CLASS 107 DMU, formed of Driving Motor Brake Second No. 52006 and Driving Motor Composite Lavatory No. 52025, has been bought by a private group from the Avon Valley Railway and subsequently moved to join the Somerset & Dorset Railway Heritage Trust at Midsomer Norton.

The trust and operating company have said they are pleased to see a versatile unit such as this DMU arrive to help share the ever-increasing workload.

It debuted at the line’s April 22-24 spring steam and diesel Changeover Years gala.
