N gauge for latest Navigation society commission

THE latest wagon commission from the General Steam Navigation Locomotive Restoration Society has been announced as an N gauge 7 plank design, as the society continues to raise funds for the overhaul of the Merchant Navy locomotive, which is located at Blunsdon on the Swindon and Cricklade Railway.

Continuing the co-operation between the GSNLRS and the Medway Queen Preservation Society (a GSN shipping company vessel), it follows the success of previous limited edition wagons, with funds supporting both societies.

The open wagon comes with ‘General Steam Navigation, Blunsdon & Gillingham Pier’ lettering, reflecting the locations of the two societies, and is numbered 22 to signify the year.
