Playing with colour
An artist who went from postman to painter has a one-man show at Stevenage Arts and Leisure Centre. Terry Wood, of Stotfold, takes his inspiration from scenes locally and abroad – from a rainy day in St Albans (left) to a Tuscan farmhouse. ‘Something catches my eye and I use that as a starting point,’ he says.
The artist who ‘loves to play with colour’ works mostly in acrylics, watercolour and mixed media to create his vibrant landscapes, abstracts and figurative works.
The exhibition at Pi Bistro and Gallery is on until November 4.
