WERNHER’S NEW HEAD CHEF
Award-winning chef Ruth Hansom, a recent contestant on BBC2’s Million Pound Menu, has been named head chef of the fine dining Wernher Restaurant at the five-star Luton Hoo country house hotel near Harpenden. She will lead the Wernher team working under the direction of Luton Hoo executive head chef Christopher Mouyiassi.
She said she was delighted to have the opportunity to join ‘such a historic British restaurant’. Luton Hoo general manager Matthew Long added, ‘Ruth not only has years of experience but a fantastic, enthusiastic spirit.’
