Cakes galore help raise cash for Rainbows

-

A MAGNA PARK logistics firm has raised more than £300 for Rainbow’s Hospice in a recent bake sale.

It takes total donations by Core Management Logistics (CML) to nearly £40,000 for the Loughborough-based hospice since their partnership began in 2007.

The funds raised will allow them to continue to provide care and assis- tance for terminally ill children and their families.

Kate Golding, of Rainbows Hospice, said: “We are grateful for the fantastic support CML have given us over the past nine years, their efforts will help us continue to provide care to the children and young people who rely on us.”

Letisha Harbidge, who oversees CML’s charitable work, added: “It was great to see so many staff taking time out to get behind such a worthwhile cause.

“Thanks are due to Andzelina Gruza who took the lead on organising the bake sale, and the 30 or so staff members who contributed their own baking.

“We are very proud of the charitable work we do, and it’s great to have a chance to bring the team together for an event like this.”

CML specialised in retail warehousing and distribution, along with global freight forwarding services, holding stock for a number of leading brands and suppliers.
